Wedding Terms and Conditions

For every event on a scale such as this it is important that both parties are aware at the earliest stage of the Terms and Conditions relating to the booking policy and the rights from both sides. Please read through this section and by signing at the bottom of the page you confirm that you have read and understand all terms and conditions for your wedding to be held at Pot a Doodle Do Wigwam Village.

Payment Terms

There is a deposit payable on booking. For more information on the deposit please contact the booking office on 01289307107 or send an email to enquiries@northumbrianwigwams.com This payment is to allow your wedding party exclusive use of the Wigwam Village and the Kitchen and Shower Block on site. All wigwams and canvas yurts must be occupied by guests for the weekend, i.e. min 2 nights and all monies for this must be paid for as follows :

£25 non refundable deposit is paid on the booking of the individual wigwam and the balance is due at the end of January prior to the wedding date.

We also require details of a credit or debit card as a guarantee for any additional costs incurred on the day, payable on departure.

General

Pot a Doodle Do Wigwam Village shall be entitled at their sole discretion to cancel the event upon notice to the client in the occurrence of one or more of the following occurrences : Force Majure, i.e. Acts of God or if there are Outstanding Payments due from the client or from any of their guests for accommodation booked by them but the balance remaining unpaid..

We require you to let us know of all third party contracts for entertainment or services for a function and reserves the right to prohibit the same. We also reserve the right to determine the noise level at a function and the clients are obliged to adjust to this level.

The client shall be liable for all losses or damages sustained by Pot a Doodle Do Wigwam Village in respect of the premises, furnishings utensils or equipment. Whether the same is caused wilfully or by negligence or default and shall be liable for the cost of replacement, plus compensation for the loss of business caused thereby. We do recommend that you take out some form of Wedding Insurance that would cover any damage caused either by your own party or by third parties, i.e. marquee hirers or caterers.

Cancellation

In the event of cancellation of a booking by the client for whatever reason Pot a Doodle Do will make a cancellation charge on the following basis :

£100 of the deposit will be retained by Pot a Doodle Do for admin costs incurred up to the date of cancellation. No deposits for wigwam accommodation will be refunded and once a booking is made and payment in full made our cancellation terms and conditions on our website apply, I.e. we do not give refunds on any bookings but provided we get 48 hours notice then the booking can be banked for six months and used at another date providing we have availability.

The client agrees to be bound by all reasonable instructions of duly authorised representatives of Pot a Doodle Do in respect of condition of the function and shall further ensure that those attending shall similarly comply.

Any written information made available to the customer shall be deemed incorporated herein and in the event of dispute these terms and conditions shall prevail.
